Before God and in the presence of this congregation, N. and N. have made their solemn vows to each other. They have confirmed their promises by the joining of hands and by the giving and receiving of rings. Therefore, I proclaim that they are now husband and wife. Blessed be the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit now and forever.
Those whom God has joined together
let no one separate.

N. and N., you both came to this ceremony today because of the love that you share. With sincerity you have made sacred promises to each other in the presence of your family, your friends and your God. It is now my joy to declare you to be joined in holy wedlock. United in this special way, face the future as husband and wife together, assured of God’s love for you always.
Those whom God has joined together
let no one separate.

Because N. and N. have publicly made their vows to each other today, and have given and received rings as an outward sign of this unity, I now declare them to be husband and wife together. Joined as one, N. and N., you will continue to be blessed by the love you share, the love you have for God and the love God has for each of you.
Those whom God has joined together
let no one separate.

Two single notes can be played together to produce a chord. Neither note loses its tone, yet together they become something more than they were alone. Today, N. and N., you have been joined in a similar way. Together you will be a part of something greater than you were alone. Together you will add a new chord of music to your lives and to the world. It is my pleasure to announce that you, N. and N., are now joined in holy matrimony.
Those whom God has joined together
let no one separate.

Love is a gift from God. You, N. and N., have chosen to share with each other that gift of love that God has created in you. Therefore, you have exchanged vows and rings today in order to symbolize what you are feeling in you hearts. It is a joy for me to now pronounce you united in marriage and to say that you are husband and wife together.
Those whom God has joined together
let no one separate.

Forasmuch as N. and N. have consented together in holy wedlock, and have witnessed the same before God and this company, and thereto have pledged their faith each to the other, and have declared the same by joining hands and by giving and receiving rings, I pronounce that they are husband and wife together, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Those whom God has joined together,
let no one put asunder. Amen.

Before I pronounce you Husband and Wife, I have just one more thing I want you to do. Your wedding day is one that seems to fly. It’s a day filled with emotion, family, friends, rings and dances. Many people remember how fleeting their own wedding day was. So, I want you to take a few seconds to look into each others’ eyes. Think about the happiness that you are feeling in this place, in this moment. Really let that feeling register in your heart and in your mind. Now, I want you to think about your life together in twenty years. Where are you? What are you doing? We all know that your visions of the future are not identical, but always complimentary. John Lennon once said, “a dream you dream alone is only a dream, a dream you dream together, THAT is reality.” That new reality starts now! N. And N., I now pronounce you Husband and Wife!!!
